Humidity, harsh hair products, lack of moisture, and overbrushing are some of the causes of hair breakage and frizzy hair. Bad habits also contribute to having unmanageable hair. With proper maintenance and guidance, you should be able to keep your crowning glory. In this article, we’ll talk about helpful tips to help you effectively manage difficult hair.
Albeit you have naturally beautiful hair, we recommend that you always use a conditioner after shampooing. Gently massage the conditioner to your scalp before rinsing it. Only use cold water when rinsing your hair. Hot water can dry it out.
Our Magic Sleek Maintenance Conditioner is made with high-quality ingredients that work to protect, repair and add shine to your hair. Some ingredients include the Morrocan miracle Argan and olive extract to provide intense moisture.
As they say, food is the best medicine. Eating the right kind of food doesn’t just improve your health but it also positively affects your hair. Eat a hair-healthy diet such as green vegetables, fresh fruits and lean meat. Please avoid saturated fats like the plague.
Some would opt for those cheap flat irons to straighten their hair. Please keep in mind that a cheap price may have a catch — these kinds of products may end up damaging your hair. Use our Magic Sleek Pro Titanium Flat Irons to ensure the best results. It doesn’t just deliver heat evenly and fast, it’s also very safe to use and doesn’t damage your hair.
Albeit you’re in a hurry, please always towel dry your hair first before blowdrying it. You need to get rid of the excess water first. Blow drying your hair right away could damage it.
As much as possible, avoid blow-drying your hair frequently so you don’t damage it. Should you decide to blow dry your hair, ensure that it’s about six inches away from your head. Also, make sure that you only use the best hair products.
To avoid damage, use the cool shot button especially when your hair is almost dry. Overdrying may cause hair breakage and dryness.
It’s not just enough to use a regular conditioner, you need to deep condition your hair at least once a week. Use our Magic Sleek Emergency Repair Kits, a proven hair treatment that provides intense hydration. It’s packed with enough nutrients that your hair needs.
To lessen exposure to toxins and chemicals, use our Magic Sleek Acai Oil to protect your hair from environmental damage. It can help strengthen your hair to reduce split ends and breakage.
When it comes to your hair, make sure that you do research on the best products in the market. Always go for the natural ingredients, as much as possible. If you’re looking for an alternative hair straightening treatment, go for products with the best reviews on how to improve hair growth and health.
Avoid ripping at tangles with a brush as that can damage your hair. Get a wide-tooth comb instead to remove the tangles. When your hair is prone to tangling, feel free to use a gentle detangler before styling your hair.
If you’re looking to straighten your hair, please only use a Formaldehyde-Free Hair Straightening for the best results and to ensure no damage to your hair. Don’t forget to check out our shop for hair products we think can benefit your hair and keep your crowning glory. Let us know if you have questions.

I have the 1.75 inch Magic Sleek straightener. It is wonderful but I noticed that the videos show steam being produced when in use and mine doesn’t steam. Any thoughts?
Thank you for messaging Magic Sleek! The steam that you see in the video being produced is due to the product on the hair. If you are using the Magic Sleek Flatiron, it shouldn’t steam unless product is on the hair.
Can you please suggest a good/ easy product I can use to create the shine that is seen on the videos?
I love my smooth sexy hair after getting a magic sleek treatment! However I want to dry it wavy, can you recommend what styling products are best to achieve beach waves. The regular curly hair products I used prior to my straightening treatment don’t work well. They seem to be too heavy and make my hair look a bit greasy (I actually have very dry hair and it doesn’t actually get greasy).
Thank you for your comment! We are so happy to hear that you like the treatment. Your concerns seem to be more style wise than product wise, so here are a couple things you could try: braid damp hair and sleep on it for beach waves in the morning (style with fingers), or rough dry with a blow-dryer/air dry hair and use a big curling iron and curl hair away from your face.
